The crew at Celeste Dance Paengaroa, gave it their best at Celeste Dance Afternoon on 14th January. It was a lovely sunny day and all children were supported by their families. It was lovely to see them all along, applauding their efforts, thanks. I had shut the doors to finish rehearsing, while they waited outside with anticipation, though I rescued the rocky road and choc strawberry plate, donated from one family to save it melting in the sun!!
(PS This year I am making a newly created rocky road, made from cocoa butter, with blueberries and raw nuts like brazil almond walnut, coconut peels, cocoa, cinnamon only .......... just saying)

Everybody gave their best efforts with their dancing/helping, the guests were waited on with refreshments, and the students enjoyed being part of the event organisation.
Then they DANCED YES!!
Starting with the preschool who did very well to remember their work and get up to dance for the first time to a crowd, incl some of their own moves to synchronically to Beautiful People (which we, they are!!) by Burlesque. (Celeste style ....). Celeste Enterprises was named partly due to universal synchronicity and The Nine Insights from The Celestine Prophecy - Cycle Harmony which I read/saw which corresponding to the insights I frequently got, interweaving my career and life.
And the Hip Hop who were a variety of ages, gave a smoking performance of syllabus dance from DanceNZ Made - Syllabus dance too, then mostly their own choreography ‘I Like It; which we did. We even had boy in the group, who took elements of courage to get on stage, that they all displayed to show their works!!
Part of the finale was for the kids to ask families up to dance. It was neat to see a community spirit in dance and a nice atmosphere, thanks.
